Kevin Heislen, CPA, CIA, recently passed an exam and met other criteria required to earn designation as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). The CFE credential is awarded by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the world’s largest anti-fraud organization and leading provider of anti-fraud training and education.
Heislen successfully met the ACFE’s character, experience and education requirements for the CFE credential and demonstrated knowledge in four areas critical to the fight against fraud: Fraudulent Financial Transactions, Fraud Prevention and Deterrence, Legal Elements of Fraud and Fraud Investigation.
Heislen will work with WK’s other experienced CFE personnel to help business, government and not-for-profit clients identify fraud risk areas and investigate instances of fraud. He also serves as a consultant to clients in the healthcare industry.
Lauren Andrews was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Licensure as a CPA demonstrates practical experience, technical proficiency, and commitment to the accounting profession.
Missouri CPA licenses are issued by the Missouri State Board of Accountancy to those who have passed the rigorous CPA examination, have at least one year of accounting experience and meet other statutory requirements.
Andrews joined WK in 2013 and provides tax and accounting services to business and individual clients.
