Williams-Keepers LLC has partnered with Columbia REDI (ADEO) and the Columbia Chamber of Commerce to present the 2018 Economic Outlook Conference.
This year’s conference features two thought-provoking sessions. The first, “Moving Missouri Forward by Thinking Big,” will be presented by keynote speaker Rob Dixon, Director of the Missouri Department of Economic Development. Dixon will discuss new state initiatives intended to spur investment and job creation in all areas and industries in Missouri and also highlight the state’s innovative approach to land AmazonHQ2.
The second session is a panel discussion led by Caitlin Codella, Senior Director of the US Chamber of Commerce’s Center for Education and Workforce. “Advancing the Workforce of Today and Workforce of Tomorrow” will address ways to develop a competitive workforce by business engagement in early education. In addition to Ms. Codella, other panelists include Columbia Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Peter Stiepleman and business leaders who are implementing these efforts locally.
