WK provides the right combination of work-life balance for Columbia native
“I enjoy the close-knit nature of WK’s culture, knowing that I work with people who care as much about me and my family personally as they do about me professionally.”

Amanda Schultz, CPA, an audit manager at WK, grew up in Columbia. She graduated from Hickman High School and earned a master’s degree from the University of Missouri’s highly regarded School of Accountancy.
She’s a Kewpie and a Tiger through and through, but at one point it appeared her pursuit of a public accounting career might take her away from her hometown.
Having served an audit internship with a nationally recognized large regional accounting firm, Amanda seemed destined to move from Columbia … until she found an opportunity with WK.
“As I considered my options, it became clear that WK could provide me with a challenging and rewarding career,” says Amanda, who specializes in audits of governmental and not-for-profit entities and other businesses. “I work with great clients, and the access my colleagues and I have to training and continuing professional education resources is outstanding.”
Amanda has also struck the right balance between her career and time with her family, including her husband, Eric, and daughter, Sophie.
