WK is proud to introduce BOSS (Business Owners Strategies Series).
The BOSS Series was designed to provide business owners with effective strategies for managing their businesses and addressing key financial challenges through a series of planned informational seminars and associated resources and materials. WK BOSS Seminars will be offered bi-monthly in both Jefferson City and Columbia and will include a variety of topics such as but not limited to:

Williams-Keepers LLC has partnered with Columbia REDI (ADEO) and the Columbia Chamber of Commerce to present the 2018 Economic Outlook Conference.
This year’s conference features two thought-provoking sessions. The first, “Moving Missouri Forward by Thinking Big,” will be presented by keynote speaker Rob Dixon, Director of the Missouri Department of Economic Development. Dixon will discuss new state initiatives intended to spur investment and job creation in all areas and industries in Missouri and also highlight the state’s innovative approach to land AmazonHQ2.
The second session is a panel discussion led by Caitlin Codella, Senior Director of the US Chamber of Commerce’s Center for Education and Workforce. “Advancing the Workforce of Today and Workforce of Tomorrow” will address ways to develop a competitive workforce by business engagement in early education. In addition to Ms. Codella, other panelists include Columbia Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Peter Stiepleman and business leaders who are implementing these efforts locally.
SAVE THE DATE! WK’S Momentum 2018 program will be held June 20 – 22, 2018 in Columbia and Jefferson City, Missouri. Application information will be distributed this fall.
You’ve chosen accounting as your preferred field of study. But what do you really know about public accounting, the opportunities that lie ahead and how your personality and leadership skills will help you succeed in an accounting career?
During this unique summer program, Williams-Keepers LLC (WK) will help you gain a better understanding of the dynamic, ever-changing public accounting industry and the characteristics you will need to succeed. While developing networking skills through interaction with members of WK’s experienced staff and other program participants, you will learn about the importance of superior client service to WK, your personal leadership style as well as career opportunities. Your takeaways will be knowledge and experiences that can help you make the best decisions as you begin to develop your plans for a career in public accounting.
Insert marked on attachment: This program is designed for college students who will have achieved either sophomore, junior or senior class standing at the start of the 2018 – 2019 academic year. Interested applicants should apply no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2018 by submitting an updated résumé and cover letter that expresses interest in the program to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applicants will be evaluated based on the quality of their submissions, including information about previous or current leadership activities, academic achievement and involvement in community or extracurricular activities.
In-person interviews for Momentum 2018 will be conducted at WK’s Columbia office and final participant selections will be made no later than Friday, March 30, 2018. A detailed agenda will follow.
