Associates in Jefferson City earn promotions in 2017
Nine associates in WK’s Jefferson City office earned promotions after demonstrating growth in their technical, client service and leadership skills. The promotions were effective January 1, 2017.
Kirk Duncan, CPA, and Chris Schneider, CPA/CVA, were promoted to the manager level. Duncan joined the firm in 2010 and provides tax and accounting services to various business clients. Schneider joined the firm in 2011 and provides tax and valuation services to business clients.
Elisa Brenneke, EA, was promoted to the supervisor level. Brenneke provides tax services for business and individual clients and joined WK in 2003.
Jeanie Bloodgood, Shelby Graham, CPA, Danielle Stafford, CPA, and Angela Strube were promoted to the senior II level. Graham joined WK in 2012 and provides tax and accounting services to business and individual clients. Strube joined WK in 2008 and provides tax and accounting services to business and individual clients. Bloodgood provides tax and accounting services to businesses and provides compliance services to candidate campaigns and political action committees. Stafford provides audit services for the governmental, construction, and not-for-profit industries.
Megan Bauer, CPA, and Kara Holterman, CPA, were promoted to the senior I level. Bauer joined WK in 2014 and provides audit services to many different industries, specializing in employee benefit plans, insurance companies and not-for-profit organizations. She previously served as a tax intern at WK. Holterman provides tax and accounting services to business and individual clients. She joined WK as a full-time associate in 2015, having previously served as a tax intern and administrative assistant.

COLUMBIA ASSOCIATES EARN 2017 PROMOTIONS. WK chairman Jeff Echelmeier recently announced the following promotions among tax and audit associates in the firm’s Columbia office, effective January 1, 2017. The promotions are the result of each associate’s development in technical proficiency, client service skills and firm leadership.

WK COLLECTS OVER A TON OF E-WASTE DURING RECYCLING EVENT. Thanks to our associates, clients, and friends, WK collected 2,412 pounds of old electronics during our Fall E-cycling Drive on October 21.
