Williams-Keepers LLC has once again partnered with Columbia REDI and the Columbia Chamber of Commerce to present the 2017 Economic Outlook Conference.
This year there will be two presentations. The first, “Examining Retail Sales: Key trends and developments and what they mean for the year ahead,” will be presented by keynote speaker, Sarah Quinlan, Senior Vice President and Group Head of Market Insights for Mastercard. Sarah is widely recognized as an expert in her field. She provides macro-to-micro economic trends related to consumer spending and retail sales. Sarah advises executives across industries, including retail, banking, capital markets and government agencies.
The second presentation, “Economic advancement through workforce development and job creation,” will focus on statewide economic development trends. This roundtable will be an interactive discussion about creating the tools and strategies needed to develop a workforce that is trained in the industries that will attract companies in need of a highly skilled workforce. Invited speakers include several statewide economic development leaders, and further details will be available soon.
